Types of Husbands: What Kind Is Yours?

A husband has a special place in a woman’s life. She’ll love him for everything he is, and also for everything he’s not. Most times a woman takes pride in her husband. But there may still be certain aspects which she’ll secretly wish he changed about himself. While she may never get to tell him that, she will, however, share it with her friends in order to get an insight into the best possible way of dealing with it. Funnily though, these anecdotes eventually make women grow fonder of their spouses, which they’ll never admit to. Based on such conversations, we have come up with a list (in random order) that suggests the type of husband a woman has. Just to remind you, do not take this list seriously. So, have fun reading, and while you are at it, check if your husband figures in it. Here goes:

The Little Spoilt Brat

He’s the one who refuses to grow up. He’ll need you around for almost everything, from deciding what to eat, what to wear to every other major decision. And God be with you should he fall ill! Some men do this to get their wives to pamper them while for some it’s just the way they are!

Workaholic

If you feel your husband’s constant companion is his laptop than you, then you are probably right. Most women rue having a husband who is around them for name’s sake but may be constantly thinking about his work commitments. Sometimes to such an extent, that they may come up with a professional brainwave right in the middle of an intimate moment, much to the chagrin of his wife!

The Master Chef

The man of the house who’s also the master of the kitchen, he’s the husband every woman would love to have. From simple homemade recipes to intercontinental dishes, you name it and he’s got. Women swell with pride when their husbands can cook. And they love them, even more, when they know to clean up after dishing out a recipe. And that’s exactly where Mr. Masterchef scores!

Lazy Limbs

If your regular routine includes reminding your husband to put his socks inside his shoes, not to put wet towels on the bed or prevent touching curtains with soiled hands, then you know what we are talking about. Keeping things in place just doesn’t come easily to him. And if you thought all the prodding and pleading will help him turn over a new leaf, then dare we say, it’s going to be one long wait!

The Quick Witted

Humor is to the soul what food is for the body. If, after a hard day’s work, your husband’s sense of humor and quick wit crack you up, then life is easy to sail by. Whether it’s watching movies at home or in a group of friends, your husband is always the one who manages to get all the laughs through his witty comments or humorous remarks. Without him around, your day will seem dull, and rightly so.

Sports Maniac

What’s wrong if a husband enjoys a good cricket match or a game of football on TV, it’s sports after all? Well, nothing. And plenty, if his matches keep him away from enjoying a swim with his kid as promised, burns the dish his wife had asked him to watch, or worse, takes away the entire night that his wife had made special plans for.

You may have been naive in believing that you’ll marry a knight in shining armor. He’ll remind you, in the most subtle way, that he is indeed one every time he protects you from your silly insect fears, helps you calculate bills and trusts your budgeting skills every month when he hands you a part of his pay.

Your husband may or may not figure in this list. However, despite their quirks and whims, one thing is definitely common to all husbands: a loving heart for their wife!
