How To Make This Brilliant Rainbow Smoothie
We all love smoothies. They’re easy to make, and full of healthy ingredients that you wouldn’t generally eat when served on its own.
Today, I am sharing the recipe for a colorful rainbow smoothie that is not only fun to look at but tastes delicious too! The most amazing part of a rainbow smoothie is that every time you take a sip, the flavor changes unexpectedly, and you never know what the next flavor will be.
So, let’s make a rainbow smoothie!
Here are the ingredients for the rainbow smoothie.
Bottom layer
- 1 banana (frozen)
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- Half cup sliced beetroot
- 1 cup strawberries or raspberries (frozen)
Second Layer
- 1 banana (frozen)
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- 1 cup mixed berries (frozen)
- Water (as per the requirement)
Third Layer
- 2 bananas (frozen)
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- 1 cup sliced pineapple (frozen)
- 1 teaspoon food color (blue)
- Water (as per the requirement)
Fourth Layer
- 2 frozen bananas
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- 1 cup sliced pineapple (frozen)
- 1 cup spinach
- Water (as per the requirement)
Fifth Layer
- 2 bananas (frozen)
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- 1 cup sliced pineapple (frozen)
- Water (as per the requirement)
Sixth Layer
- 1 banana (frozen)
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- Half cup peaches (frozen)
- 1 orange
- one-fourth cup mango pulp
- Water (as per the requirement)
Seventh Layer
- 1 banana (frozen)
- Half cup yogurt/vanilla
- Half cup raspberries (frozen)
- Half cup strawberries (frozen)
- Water (as per the requirement)
Directions:
- First, prepare the seven smoothies separately by blending the ingredients until it forms a smooth paste. Add water if required.
- Once all the seven smoothies are prepared, transfer each one of them to separate bowls.
- Then, take the serving glass and carefully add the layers in a uniform order. You can also use a straw for layering to get more perfection.
- Once the seven layers are ready, top it with fruits.
Since you’ll be layering the smoothie, one thing that you need to make sure is the consistency of smoothie is not too liquidy. Or else, all the ingredients will get mixed instead of forming layers.
But, if by chance, your smoothie becomes watery, then you can thicken it up by pouring it into a plastic bag and putting it in the freezer for a while.
Tada, the rainbow smoothie is ready to serve!
