Unlocking Armageddon in Persona 3 Reload

Armageddon stands as the pinnacle of destructive power in Persona 3 Reload, a Theurgy skill that delivers 9,999 Almighty damage to every enemy on the battlefield. This game-changer requires registering both Helel and Satan in your Compendium, alongside hitting level 88 and maxing specific Social Links.

The Power of Theurgy: Why Armageddon Dominates

Theurgy skills represent ultimate party abilities charged through combat, and for the protagonist, they draw from Fusion Spells tied to Compendium entries. Armageddon eclipses others by wiping out foes instantly, even one-shotting the Reaper, but it drains your HP and SP to 1, demanding careful timing.

In Episode Aigis, Aigis inherits this might at level 88+, making it versatile across playthroughs. Its fixed 9,999 damage ignores resistances, perfect for Tartarus grinding or boss rushes.

Core Requirements for Armageddon

• Protagonist Level: Minimum 88 to fuse both Personas.
• Compendium Registration: Summon Helel (Star Arcana, level 88) and Satan (Judgement Arcana, level 82).
• Social Links: Max Star (for Helel) and others for component Personas.
• Velvet Room Access: Elizabeth notifies you post-registration, adding it to Theurgy options.

Fusing Satan: The Accessible Powerhouse

Satan unlocks earlier at level 82 (player level 77+ with Sun card). Reliable recipes include:

Max Devil Social Link for Lilith access. Fuse mid-to-late game during Tartarus climbs.

Mastering Helel: The Late-Game Challenge

Helel demands level 88+ and a maxed Star Social Link (Mamoru Hayase). Fusion paths:

• Alilat (Empress, 65) + Loki (Fool, 67)
• Metatron (Judgement, 80) + Lilith (Devil, 65)
• Mother Harlot (Empress, 77) + Susano-o (Fool, 77)
• Lakshmi (Fortune, max Fortune Link) + Thanatos (Death, story progression)

Progress Star events diligently; it’s New Game+ friendly without DLC.

Strategic Leveling to Hit 88

Reach level 88 via Tartarus floors, rare Shadows, or Reaper hunts. Equip Growth 3 cards from Shuffle Time or the antique shop on fusion fodder.

1. Clear blocks for EXP bursts.
2. Solo floors to trigger Reaper (darkness or 4-5 min wait).
3. Dash-attack for first turn, then Armageddon post-unlock.

Using Armageddon Effectively

Charge Theurgy fully, equip relevant Personas for EXP, then unleash. Heal immediately after (HP/SP to 1). Ideal for Reaper farming to max Personas like Messiah or Shiva.

Pros:

• 9999 all-foe damage.
• Reaper one-shots.
• No resistance checks.

Cons:

• Self-damage (unmitigable).
• Boss HP thresholds unaffected.

Late-Game Applications and Builds

Pair with endgame Personas boasting high HP/SP. Use in New Game+ for speedruns or Elizabeth requests. Reaper loops with Growth 3 max any Persona to 99 efficiently.

For Episode Aigis, Aigis’ version mirrors the protagonist’s, enhancing post-game challenges.
