Unlock 108 Free Wishes in Wuthering Waves

Embarking on your journey in Wuthering Waves, the open-world action RPG from Kuro Games, starts with a massive advantage: up to 108 free wishes. These pulls, distributed as Lustrous Tides, Radiant Tides, and Astrite, allow new players to summon powerful Resonators and weapons without spending a dime. This guide breaks down every method to claim them, ensuring you build a strong roster from day one.

Understanding Wishes and Their Value

In Wuthering Waves, wishes function like gacha pulls in similar titles. Lustrous Tides fuel the Novice Convene banner, offering discounted pulls with a guaranteed 5-star at 50 pity. Radiant Tides target the premium Character Event Convene for limited-time heroes like Jinhsi or Changli. Astrite serves as the universal currency, convertible to 10 pulls per 1600 units. The total haul—84 Lustrous Tides, 14 Radiant Tides, and 1600 Astrite—equates to exactly 108 pulls, plus extras like free 5-star characters and weapons.

These rewards are permanent for new accounts, making alt accounts viable for testing teams. Prioritize saving Astrite for selective banners, as beginner options provide pity guarantees.

Pre-Registration Rewards: Your First 20 Pulls

Before launch on May 23, 2024 (UTC+8), pre-registering on the official site grants 20 Lustrous Tides via in-game mail. Access this after reaching Jinzhou early in the main quest. The mail also includes 200 Astrite, a 4-star weapon, and a Sigil imprint.

• Visit the official Wuthering Waves website or Epic Games Store page.
• Log in with your account (Kuro or Epic).
• Confirm pre-registration status.
• Launch the game, progress to Union Level 2-3, and check mail.

This instant boost lets you pull on beginner banners immediately, potentially netting Jiyan or Verina early.

Launch Day Specials: Email Gifts and Instant Pulls

Post-launch generosity shines with automatic mail rewards. On May 24, claim 10 Lustrous Tides; May 25 brings 10 Radiant Tides. No tasks required—just log in.

Combine these with pre-reg for 40+ pulls by week one, fueling your ascent through early content.

Daily Login Events for Steady Gains

The Gifts of Thawing Frost event rewards seven-day logins with 4 Lustrous Tides and 4 Radiant Tides total, plus a free Sanhua (4-star DPS Sub-DPS). Log in daily for a week to max it out.

• Day 1-7: Progressive materials building to tides.
• Bonus: Sanhua selector for Glacio teams.

Similar to Genshin’s Flight Night, this encourages consistency, yielding 8 pulls effortlessly.

Progression Milestones: The Bulk of Your Wishes

Awakening Journey Event

This core event ties rewards to Union Level ups. Every few levels, claim from the event tab:

• Union Level 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30: 40 Lustrous Tides total.
• Additional: 1600 Astrite (10 pulls), 5-star Weapon selector (e.g., Emerald of Genesis).

Reach Level 30 naturally via quests and exploration—no grinding needed.

Union Level 30 Free Pack

Upon hitting Level 30, auto-receive 10 Lustrous Tides. This caps your 108-pull total, aligning perfectly with Awakening Journey.

Bonus Free Characters and Beginner Banners

Beyond pulls, snag guaranteed 5-stars:

• Beginner’s Choice Convene: Pick from Calcharo, Verina, Lingyang, or Encore at 80% cost (8 Tides for 10 pulls), 50 pity guarantee.
• With Lightning Coursing: Complete a tower challenge for free Yinlin (Electro DPS).
• First Sunny Present: 7-day login for Sanhua, 1600 Astrite equivalent, 5-star weapon.

These stack with pulls, offering 2-3 5-stars by Level 30.

Strategic Pulling Tips for Maximum Value

Don’t waste tides randomly. Follow this priority:

1. Novice Convene first for guaranteed 5-star and 4-star selector.
2. Beginner’s Choice for your main DPS/Healer.
3. Save Radiant/Astrite for Jiyan or Changli banners.

Track pity with in-game counters. Pity carries over, so multi-account if testing builds.

Common Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them

• Don’t spend Astrite early: Save for 10-pull banners.
• Miss mail claims: Check daily; rewards expire after 30 days.
• Ignore Union EXP: Complete dailies, explore for fast leveling.
• Pull on wrong banners: Stick to beginner ones first.

Long-Term Benefits of These Rewards

108 pulls position you for endgame. Expect 4-6 5-stars, multiple 4-stars, and weapons to clear Union Level 40+ content. This freebie surge rivals Genshin Impact’s launch, giving F2P players parity with spenders early on.

Post-108, farm Astrite via simulation challenges, expeditions, and events for sustained progress.
