Fifty Shades of Grey seems to have alerted the masses to the variations possible in the bedroom like few other works of fiction or drama ever have. It was as if all of a sudden, common people were awoken to the possibilities that lay in the bedroom, especially in the use of props, and the excitement they can bring to the fore.

Well, the blindfold is a pretty common, easy to find, easy to keep prop that if you’re considering using can lead to a shift in the way you approach the bedroom and everything that goes on within it, leading to some mind blowing bedroom fun in the process. 1. Blindfolds For Power Play

Simply tying a blindfold over your partner’s eyes completely changes the power equation in the bedroom. They can no longer see you, and you are no longer self conscious of your actions, meaning you are less hesitant to take control. And it’s all about control, isn’t it?
2. Explore Your Dominant Side
Once your partner has the blindfold on, you can start making demands. They’ll be in a position of near helplessness as you guide them to doing naughty things to your body – and they can’t even see what you’re getting up to.

3. Take Control

Once you have the blindfold over your partner’s eyes, sit them up in a chair or have them lie in bed while you take control of their bodies. Stroking, kissing, licking and whatever else catches your fancy is on the cards here – you’ll be driving them wild and they wont even know what’s coming next.
4. Mix It Up
Once your partner’s eyes are covered and you’ve had your way with their body, mix it up a little. Leave them blindfolded and do not touch or kiss them, just completely stay still. The tension of knowing that you’re nearby but not being able to see you added to the fact that they can’t feel you any more will have them begging for your touch again.

Being blindfolded takes away an important sense of ours – vision. The thing is, however, that vision isn’t the only sense involved when it comes to sex, not even close. Make sure your partner feels your warm breath and your soft lips as you caress them, and throw in a surprise as well – a nice cube when they’re least expecting; it works wonders.

6. Smell Is Key
Smell is one of the most important senses when it comes to being intimate, so you can set the tone with some scented candles, lotion, oils and the like. Remember that every sense of theirs is heightened and so they will remember each of the smells that you introduce.

The most exciting part of having your partner blindfolded is the fact that you can get away with so much more; so enjoy that liberty. Indulge your wild side as you use their bodies in just the way that you had wanted to without fear of judgement or disapproving looks – there will be none of those. Tease them over the edge until they beg for mercy, but be sure to have a safe word – a word that you both agree which means enough is enough.

8. Indulge Them
Have your partner sprawl comfortably on the bed or a rug and lay a platter of delights in front of them. Have them smell the delicious goodness that you have laid out, chocolate, figs, honey, ice cream, fresh cream and every thing else you can think of. Have them lick off the goodies from your fingers and then various body parts by gently guiding them or using a little force. Your call, isn’t it?
