She said, it was because of Shilpa that Raj left her and her new born daughter. She was quoted as saying, ‘Shilpa is a cultural icon in the Indian community, but she’s not what she appears. She can have any man she wants. There are plenty of single men. She didn’t need to go after my husband.’

What Attracts Successful Single Women To Married Men

Why do single women even choose to have affairs with married men? Why do they have to chase the married ones? The internet is abuzz with varied opinions, hate-filled comments, justifications and explanations given by anyone and everyone regarding this one question. Now we’ve spoken to women (those who have actually dated married men), spoke to the experts (the type who try to decipher why some women do so) and the men too (yeah, the married ones who have actually dated single women). After carefully analyzing all the responses, without taking sides or preaching what is good or bad, we present to you the top 4 reasons that might throw some light on why single women go after the married men. Feel free to read and agree or disagree.

1. Love. Blind Love.

It is said that love makes you do all sorts of crazy things. When in love, most people don’t realise why they do things that they do. People have defined love and have tried to relate the good and bad associated with it but no one has been able to explain as to why one would even fall in love with a married man in the first place. When asked, most women say “It just happened and I didn’t even realise it.”

2. Sex

Most women we spoke to said that they actually believed that married men are good in the bed. Now we aren’t sure where this stems from but a majority of them think so. So, sex it is!

3. Boosting One’s Self-Worth..

Now, now, now. While most of you might have your swords drawn once you have read this, it is in fact a reason given by women themselves. They say that the thrill of steering a man away from his ‘perfect life and wife’ and making him play to ones tunes actually makes them feel good and in control. We wouldn’t even try to debate that.

4. Just For Fun.

Yes, you read it right. Some women do it just for fun. A few flirty glances exchanged, followed by exchange of phone numbers, a few clandestine meetings, sweet nothings whispered, secret getaways, a few intimate moments and boom! There it ends. All of that just for some fun.

What do you think?
