Mercurial Knight Cookie Toppings Guide

Mercurial Knight Cookie stands as a formidable Epic Charger in Cookie Run Kingdom, blending tank durability with potent damage output on the front lines. His unique Mercurial Knight’s Oath skill transforms regular attacks into mercury-infused assaults, applying stacks of Mercury Poisoning that amplify final strikes and trigger powerful modes like Amalgamation and Mercurial Storm. This guide explores tailored builds to maximize his versatility in Beast-Yeast content, drawing from community-tested setups for arena dominance and PvE clears.

Core Abilities and Playstyle Essentials

Mercurial Knight Cookie excels as a frontline warrior, sworn protector of the Silver Tree. His skill activates enhanced attacks that deal area damage while inflicting Mercury Poisoning on foes—58% Max HP damage per stack for bosses, 12.3% ATK for others. Accumulating mercury leads to bonus final-hit damage, and debuffs grant Amalgamation stacks (one per second or debuff received). At 60 stacks, he enters Mercurial Storm: +30% ATK, +50% ATK SPD, +25% Max HP for 20 seconds, with immunity to effects like Spore Dispersal and Mushroom Mutation, plus interrupt resistance.

Pairing with Silverbell Cookie grants instant Silver Knighthood: non-dispellable DMG Resist buff, +30% Max HP/ATK SPD for both, and +20% Max HP/DMG Resist for White Lily Cookie allies. This synergy makes him a self-sustaining DPS-tank hybrid, ideal for prolonged fights.

Optimal Toppings Configurations

Toppings define Mercurial Knight’s balance between survival and aggression. Prioritize DMG Resist for tanking, ATK for output, and cooldown reduction for frequent skill uptime. Solid Almond boosts DMG Resist to endure hits, while Searing Raspberry amps ATK, and Swift Chocolate cuts cooldowns for spam.

The Broken Almond-Raspberry (5 Almond, 3 Raspberry) is meta for reinforcing attacks while withstanding enemy barrages, ensuring Mercurial Storm activation. Full Raspberry suits pure damage but demands high DMG Resist substats to avoid early falls. Test in practice mode to refine based on your roster’s needs.

Beascuit Priorities for Peak Performance

Beascuits elevate Mercurial Knight’s stats, focusing on ATK, DMG Resist, cooldown, DEF, HP, and RES. Legendary Chewy Beascuits are ideal for endgame.

• Primary: ATK – Core for mercury damage scaling and Storm mode.
• Secondary: DMG Resist, Cooldown Reduction – Survivability and skill frequency.
• Tertiary: DEF, HP, ATK SPD, RES CRIT% – Bulk up against debuffs and bursts.

Aim for 5+ pieces with these bonuses. Balance with toppings—beefy Beascuits pair with offensive toppings, and vice versa. This setup makes him “super beefy” yet offensively potent.

Synergistic Team Compositions

Mercurial Knight thrives in Silver Tree-themed teams leveraging his buffs. Frontline him with healers and debuff cleansers for sustain.

Premium Arena Team: Mercurial Knight (lead), Silverbell, White Lily, Frost Queen, Golden Cheese. Buffs stack for unkillable frontline. PvE Clear Squad: Swap rear for Prune Juice/Black Pearl for AoE shred. Avoid squishy comps—his poison shines in clustered enemies.

Essential Treasures to Amplify Builds

Treasures enhance team synergy and personal buffs. Prioritize ATK%, cooldown, CRIT, RES, and DMG Resist.

• Old Pilgrim’s Scroll: ATK% boost for mercury scaling.
• Squishy Jelly Watch: Cooldown reduction for Oath spam.
• Dream Conductor’s Whistle: CRIT%, RES, DMG Resist, ATK% – perfect all-rounder.

Equip Scroll/Watch on Mercurial Knight, Whistle on supports. This trio maximizes Storm uptime and poison proliferation.

Advanced Strategies and Matchup Tips

To dominate, position Mercurial Knight centrally in front for max poison spread. Provoke bosses early to stack Amalgamation via debuffs. In arena, bait interrupts during Storm entry for immunity edge. Counter mushroom teams effortlessly due to built-in immunities.

Vs. Heavy DPS: Full Almond for RES. Vs. Debuff Heavies: Hybrid with high RES CRIT%. Upgrade to 60+ soulstone for base stat leaps. Experiment toppings post-skill tweaks—community favors Almond hybrids for longevity.
