If you love beaches, then this is where you want to head. Relax on the deck of a houseboat together, enjoying some fresh toddy and fish fry, as you meander down the backwaters. Travel up to Munnar and Vagamon and experience the misty forests on the back of an elephant, enchant yourselves by trekking to Silent Valley, and be at peace. The best time, weather wise, to plan your honeymoon here would be between November and March.

5. Araku Valley
