Fuse Daisoujou with Regenerate 3 in P3R

In Persona 3 Reload, mastering the fusion system is key to building a powerful roster of Personas. One standout challenge comes from Elizabeth’s Fusion Series #7 request, tasking you with creating a Daisoujou that possesses the Regenerate 3 skill. This passive ability restores a significant portion of the Persona’s HP at the end of each turn, making it invaluable for prolonged fights in Tartarus or against formidable Shadows.

Daisoujou, a Level 59 Hierophant Persona, boasts strong healing and support capabilities, enhanced dramatically by Regenerate 3. Completing this request not only rewards you with useful items but also deepens your understanding of fusion mechanics, skill inheritance, and Persona optimization. This guide explores multiple reliable paths to achieve this fusion, drawing from verified strategies used by the community.

Understanding the Regenerate 3 Skill

Regenerate 3 is an advanced passive skill that automatically heals 7% of the user’s maximum HP per turn. It shines in boss encounters and extended dungeon crawls where sustaining health without items is crucial. Unlike basic Regenerate (2-3% HP) or its Invigorate counterpart (SP recovery), Regenerate 3 provides substantial staying power, allowing Personas like Daisoujou to support the team longer without retreating.

To inherit this skill, you’ll need a donor Persona that naturally learns it at a high level. Common carriers include Dionysus (Level 54), Suzaku (Level 56), and others that acquire it through leveling. Skill cards can also teach it, but fusion inheritance is the most efficient method for Elizabeth’s demands.

Unlocking Elizabeth’s Request 72

• Availability: Unlocks on October 6th after completing Request #63. Head to the Velvet Room or check the request board.
• Deadline: None—take your time to perfect the fusion.
• Reward: Blue Shorts (boosts evasion) upon presenting the correct Daisoujou to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth’s fusion requests escalate in complexity, testing your knowledge of arcana combinations, level requirements, and dyad skills. For Daisoujou (Hierophant), focus on pairs that result in this arcana while ensuring Regenerate 3 transfers over.

Primary Fusion Method: Qitian Dasheng + Thunderbird

The simplest direct path fuses Qitian Dasheng (Tower) and Thunderbird (Sun), yielding Daisoujou with Regenerate 3 inherited if prepared correctly. This method requires minimal intermediate steps and is accessible mid-to-late game.

Acquiring Qitian Dasheng

Qitian Dasheng is a high-level Tower Persona. Fuse using these combinations:

Level up Qitian Dasheng if needed, but prioritize having Regenerate 3 on Thunderbird for inheritance.

Acquiring Thunderbird

Thunderbird often carries strong wind skills; ensure it learns Regenerate 3 via leveling or cards before fusing.

Enter the Velvet Room, select the two Personas, and confirm the fusion. The resulting Daisoujou should inherit Regenerate 3 if it’s among the donor’s skills.

Alternative Fusion Path: Multi-Step with Dionysus and Ganga

For players without Qitian Dasheng or Thunderbird, use this chain: Dionysus (with Regenerate 3) + Mitra → Ganga (with Regenerate 3) + Jatayu → Daisoujou.

1. Level Dionysus to 54: It learns Regenerate 3 naturally. Obtain via fusion (e.g., Dionysus recipes in compendium tools).
2. Fuse Dionysus + Mitra: Results in Ganga. Verify Regenerate 3 transfers—retry if not.
3. Fuse Ganga + Jatayu: Produces Daisoujou with the skill intact.

This method builds intermediate Personas useful elsewhere, like Ganga’s ice attacks.

Advanced Strategy: Suzaku Inheritance Line

A third option leverages Suzaku at Level 56, which learns Regenerate 3. Fuse it with Hecatoncheires, Hariti, or Mada to pass the skill to Daisoujou directly.

• Suzaku + Hecatoncheires: Hierophant result with high inheritance chance.
• Suzaku + Hariti: Reliable for support-focused builds.
• Suzaku + Mada: Adds fire potency alongside regeneration.

Use fusion calculators to confirm levels and skills, ensuring the protagonist’s level meets Daisoujou’s 59 requirement.

Skill Inheritance Tips and Troubleshooting

Fusion in Persona 3 Reload follows dyad rules: the result’s arcana from base ingredients, skills from a pool of donor abilities (prioritizing high-level ones). To guarantee Regenerate 3:

• Maximize donor skills: Have the carrier at peak level with few conflicting passives.
• Use Skill Cards: Extract Regenerate 3 via Elizabeth’s card system if fusion fails.
• Check compendium: Register strong donors beforehand to reuse.
• Level grinding: Tartarus blocks around Floor 200+ for efficient EXP.

Common issues: Skill not inheriting (refuse fusion), insufficient protagonist level (raise via battles), or wrong arcana (consult fusion chart).

Optimizing Daisoujou Post-Fusion

Once created, enhance Daisoujou further:

• Core Skills: Mediarahan, Hamaon, Tetrakarn—ideal healer/tank.
• Passives: Regenerate 3 + Endure boosts durability.
• Weaknesses: Exploit nulls to poison/ailment immunity.

Equip on protagonists or allies for Tartarus clears and Monad battles.

Other Elizabeth Fusion Requests Context

This request fits into a series demanding specific skill-arcana combos. Prior ones include Invigorate 3 variants; future ones ramp up (e.g., Episode Aigis content). Completing them unlocks shop discounts and rare items.
