Blaze of Glory: Unlock Free Animated Camo in BO6

The Blaze of Glory event brings excitement to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (BO6) and Warzone players with a chance to earn exclusive rewards, headlined by the captivating Highly Decorated animated camo. Running from May 6th to May 15th, 2025, this limited-time challenge tasks you with gathering Blaze Bucks through gameplay across multiplayer (MP), zombies (ZM), and Warzone modes. By strategically collecting and spending these bucks, you can claim a series of free items culminating in the prestigious camo unlock.

Event Overview and Timeline

Blaze of Glory is designed as a collection-style event, similar to past Call of Duty promotions, where progress hinges on accumulating a specific currency—in this case, Blaze Bucks. The total requirement stands at 255 Blaze Bucks to fully complete the event and secure all rewards, including the top-tier animated camo.

• Start Date: May 6th, 2025
• End Date: May 15th, 2025 – Act fast as rewards vanish afterward!
• Platforms: Available in BO6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone
• Total Goal: 255 Blaze Bucks for everything

This two-week window gives ample opportunity for grinding, but efficiency is key to avoiding last-minute rushes. Tie in Twitch drops by linking your Activision account and watching participating streamers like Symphony or Huskers until May 10th for bonus progress.

Collecting Blaze Bucks: Core Mechanics

Blaze Bucks drop from key in-game actions, making every match count toward your total. Focus on high-yield activities to accelerate progress.

In MP and ZM, prioritize eliminations for steady gains—aim for objective-based modes like Domination or Hardpoint to rack up kills quickly. Warzone players should hunt Supply Caches aggressively, especially in high-traffic areas. Note Zombies’ potential soft cap: if drops slow, save and quit to reset.

All Rewards Breakdown

The event offers a tiered reward track, with costs escalating as you progress. Spend wisely to hit milestones without overspending early. Here’s the full lineup:

1. 5 Blaze Bucks: Basic calling card – A simple animated emblem to kick off your collection.
2. 10 Blaze Bucks: Roll It animated calling card – Dynamic design with rolling effects for profile flair.
3. 20 Blaze Bucks: 45-minute Double Weapon XP Token – Boost your leveling in BO6 or Warzone.

Fastest Strategies for Completion

To blaze through the event, adopt mode-specific tactics backed by community-tested methods.

Multiplayer Domination

Dive into small-map MP like Shipment or Nuketown. Equip killstreaks and perks for rapid eliminations—expect 20-30 Blaze Bucks per match.

Zombies Efficiency

Run high-round public lobbies in standard maps. Use field upgrades for overpowered clears, but save-quit at soft caps to maintain drop rates.

Warzone Cache Hunting

Land hot in areas with dense caches, like Superstore. Squad up for protection while opening drops—combine with contracts for extra caches.

Pro Tip: Multitask with Twitch viewing for passive bucks. A hybrid approach—alternating modes daily—nets 255 bucks in under a week.

Highly Decorated Camo: The Crown Jewel

The event’s star is the Highly Decorated camo, an animated masterpiece with swirling purple-green leaves and dynamic effects. Apply it to mastery weapons for a standout look in lobbies. Black Cell upgrades it further with premium styling. Footage shows it shimmering on assault rifles and SMGs, perfect for flexing in Season 3.

Unlike static camos, its animation reacts to firing and movement, drawing eyes in killcams.

Common Pitfalls and Fixes

• Slow Progress: Stuck? Switch modes—Warzone caches outperform low-kill MP games.
• Zombies Drought: Soft caps hit after 50+ rounds; reload the game.
• Missed Deadline: Track via in-game menu; event ends May 15th sharp.
• Black Cell Confusion: Base camo is free; upgrade requires active Season 3 Black Cell.

Why Participate? Beyond the Camo

Blaze of Glory revives animated camos in BO6, a fan-favorite absent for seasons. It bridges MP, ZM, and Warzone communities while offering practical boosts like XP tokens. Completing it signals mastery status, enhancing your profile with universal cosmetics.

Post-event, these items remain in your inventory forever—no expiration.
