He further demonstrated his versatility as a serious actor with his role as an urban college graduate who dares to take up arms against his ruthless father in law, for the movie Bunny. Add to that his status as the handsome nephew of the noted, talented Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, and you’ll know how he was always destined for great things. “Mana Allu” was and remains one of the most loved heart throbs of the Tollywood film industry. With quite a number of awards under his belt, he is not only known for his acting prowess, but also his scintillating dancing skills. The Road To The Sneha – Allu Arjun Marriage: The Love Begins

Well, Allu Arjun and his bride, Sneha Reddy have a rather unconventional love story that his fans would all want to know about. Sneha Reddy has no connections to Tollywood and has never been an actor. Rather, this pretty lady managed to steal the young star’s heart when they met at a common friend’s wedding. Was it love at first sight? Well, for Allu Arjun, this definitely seems to have been the case. Once they met each other at a mutual friend’s wedding, they started talking to each other and found that they liked it. It was Allu Arjun who took the courage and finally proposed to Sneha, and she said yes. But this happened only a while after the two met. Apparently, it was Allu’s friends who brought up the idea that he and Sneha would make a good couple and they vehemently encouraged him to pursue her. Sneha is the daughter of noted businessman and educationist K.C Reddy. It was none other than Sneha’s father who set up the famous Scient Institute of Technology in Hyderabad. And it should come as no surprise that Sneha lives up to the tag of “beauty with brains.” Having completed her Engineering degree at Scient Institute, this ambitious and talented young lady left the shores of India in order to pursue a master’s degree from the United States. It was while she was studying in the US that she met Allu Arjun at her friend’s wedding! Talk about destiny, for the Sneha – Allu Arjun wedding was meant to be! Soon, Allu Arjun and Sneha’s relationship had blossomed into something special. But according to Allu Arjun, his marriage is a mix of both love and arranged marriage! Pretty soon, as is the case with all famous, young stars, the media was rife with speculations about the love that was growing between Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy. This prompted Allu’s family to sit down with him and have a discussion about his alleged affair. This was when the actor reportedly convinced his parents about the match. Sources close to the actor have claimed that his father, Allu Aravind, was initially against the match. But soon, he had to give in to his son’s wishes and gave his blessings to his son and his bride-to-be. In fact, as soon as he was convinced that Sneha was the right woman for his son, he promptly discussed this with her parents in order to solemnize the budding relationship between Sneha and Allu Arjun. That Allu Arjun definitely valued the opinion of his parents’ is no secret. In an interview, he had openly admitted to being open to an arranged marriage. “My family knows what’s best for me. They will definitely choose the perfect match,” he said. Lucky for him, his family soon understood that Sneha would be the right one for their son and all was well. Once everything was finalized, the duo went public with the announcement that they were to be wedded soon.

Before the Sneha – Allu Arjun Marriage: The Engagement Ceremony

Their engagement ceremony was a lovely and grand event. It was held at the Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad on 26^th November, 2010. The venue was delightfully decked up with colourful floral arrangements, golden-yellow drapes and soft lighting. The scene was indeed perfect for the young star to take his first steps into matrimony. Allu Arjun looked even more handsome than usual in a simple white T-shirt and a cream blazer. His cousin and friend, the famous actor Ram Charan was with him throughout, lending him quiet confidence and support. Allu Arjun looked happy, nervous and excited all at once, just like most grooms are! As for his bride-to-be, she was simply a vision of gorgeousness that has to be seen to be believed. As she entered the venue, she was wearing a green net Sabyasachi saree. The golden border, with its floral designs looked absolutely stunning with her lovely pink blouse. She wore simply yet classy jewellery for the occasion, with a choker and a longer necklace made out of diamonds that glimmered with every turn. Her hair looked exquisite in a long, traditional south Indian braid that was decked up with perfumed jasmine flowers, while a matha patti adorned her forehead. Once it was time for the rituals of the Varudu Nischathardam, both the bride and her groom changed into a more traditional dress. Allu Arjun looked exceedingly dapper in a cream sherwani, while Sneha looked amazing in her pink SabyasachiKancheevaramsaree. (Yes, Sabyasachi has a selection of Kancheevaramsarees, in case you were wondering) Both the bride and the groom to be looked extremely happy together as the rituals were completed and they were engaged to be wedded shortly. The engagement was graced by several leading personalities from the Tollywood industry who showered their blessings on the happy couple. The couple’s wedding invites also reflected taste, class and a lot of love. The concept was outlined by a famous designer from New Delhi. The invite consisted of a cream and white two-tiered box, the first of which contained the invitation and the second was filled with sweets and chocolates. The front of the card paid homage to Lord Tirupati Balaji, and was decorated with sequins and gems.

The Sangeet Ceremony

The couple had a festive, fun sangeet ceremony that was held at Taj Krishna on 4^th March, 2011. The walk-up to the venue was beautifully decorated with antique statues, off-white drapes, and tiny fairy lights, which made it look like the set of some Bollywood movie. Allu Arjun looked stunning in a dark balck sherwani, with tiny sequins. As for his bride-to-be, she was once agiain the very picture of perfection. She wore a glittering silver lehengasaree. While her blouse caught every ray of light and glimmered with a million hues, her pink and orange dupatta made her truly look like an angel. Her jewellery was simple and exquisite all at once, with shining rubies encrusted on her necklace. The real highlight of the evening, however, was a little musical tribute that Allu Arjun himself gave for his beautiful bride-to-be. His fingers flew over his keyboard, as he created some soulful music that moved his bride and everyone else present. The song he chose for his bride was ‘NijangaNenena’ from Kotha Bangaru Lokam, and before long all the guests were clapping along merrily to his mesmerizing tunes. He may not be the best singer in town, but he definitely proved two things – he has many talents apart from his “lighting feet” and that he is a romantic! Of course, to imagine Allu Arjun’s sangeet ceremony without the legendary actor shaking a leg would almost be blasphemous. And they did not disappoint. Both Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy showed why they were such a perfect match with some scintillating dance moves that captivated the hearts of all those who were present for their sangeetceremony. This was one of the most romantic, entertaining and cosy sangeet ceremonies, and no doubt the bride and groom enjoyed themselves as much as each of the guests who were present. Many super stars from Tollywood were present at the occasion, and were all unanimous in their support for the impending nuptials between these two love birds!

The Sneha – Allu Arjun Wedding At Hitex

The grand wedding of Allu Arjun and his heartthrob Sneha Reddy was eagerly anticipated by all of his fans. The event would be telecast live on some major news channels, much to the joy of millions of his fans who all tuned in to watch as their hero finally settled down. The wedding function was held at Hitex Grounds, where his friend NTR Jr. had also tied the knot. The wedding took place on March 6, 2011 and was attended not only by the dignitaries from Tollywood, but was also thronged by his numerous teeming fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the super star. The grand wedding almost brought all of Hyderabad to a complete standstill, with almost over twenty thousand fans thronging to the grounds! And the wedding decorations were indeed a sight to behold. The entire venue was constructed to look like the Tirupati Temple. Right from the grand “gopuram” that was simply regal, to the idols of the Gods all illumined in violet light, every little detail was spot on. The floral arrangements were colourful, fresh and added that extra charm to the whole venue. The blushing bride was a picture of perfection as she donned a gold and pink Kanjeevaramsaree for the occasion. Her hair was exquisitely decked in with jasmine flowers, as is the tradition. A lovely matha patti adorned her forehead in addition to the traditional “baasikam”. Her jewellery was so elegant that one almost expected her to be bride from the long distant past! Studded with beautiful emeralds and diamonds, the necklaces that graced her neck added to her natural beauty. What with her beautiful full-hand mehendi design, her bangles, a shimerring bajuband, and a sexy kamarband, suffice it to say that she would have broken as many hearts as Allu Arjun himself! But what really set her look apart was the small, traditional nose-ring that she wore. The groom too looked set to break many young hearts as he wore a cream and white sherwani by JJ Valiya. As the traditional rituals proceeded and the dashing young star finally tied the thread of love around her neck, she could not stop blushing! The couple looked exceedingly cute and adorable as they shared a few laughs and small-talk in between the ceremony.

The Grand Reception For The Fans

Not to leave the millions of his fans out of the loop, Allu Arjun decided to throw a reception bash for his fans at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. The stage was decorated with cream and red hues, and the whole stage was adorned with gorgeous flowers. For the occasion, Allu Arjun looked more handsome than ever before in his redsherwani that was embroidered all around. The cuffs and collars had some lovely mirror work done, and one could hardly take their eyes off this dashing young star. His new wife too looked stunning and traditional. She wore a red and golden Kancheevaramsaree that did wonders to her charming smile. She wore a diamond choker, and a longer kundan necklace. Add to that her beautiful kamarband, and she was indeed a vision of perfection. One cannot help but admire how good a couple these two make! Although there were several photographers present at their wedding, Joseph Radhnik was their exclusive wedding photographer, who immortalized this day with some amazing snaps. The couple have since shared a happy married life together. The couple had a son together in 2014, named Allu Ayaan. We wish the happy family many more years of bliss and joy!
