Powertrain: e-POWER Hybrid Innovation

At the heart of the 2026 Nissan Note is the e-POWER hybrid system, a series hybrid where a petrol engine generates electricity for an electric motor that drives the wheels. This setup delivers instant torque for responsive acceleration, achieving 0-60mph in under 10 seconds. The 1.2-liter petrol engine supports the motor, paired with a single-speed transmission for seamless shifts.

Fuel economy stands out at over 60mpg combined, with real-world figures nearing 70mpg in city driving due to regenerative braking. It’s quieter than traditional hybrids, with minimal engine noise as the electric motor handles propulsion.

• 136hp electric motor output
• Regenerative braking for energy recapture
• EV mode for short electric-only runs

Drive modes include Eco, Normal, and Sport, allowing customization. The e-POWER system’s instant torque makes overtaking effortless, while traction control ensures grip in wet conditions.

Comprehensive Safety and Driver Assistance Suite

Safety is paramount, with Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist offering semi-autonomous driving via adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping, and traffic jam assist. Standard features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera. Multiple airbags, ABS, and stability control provide robust protection.
